Milestones

Following WB Martin Caller’s investiture as an APGM in May 2007, another member of Zion Menorah Lodge has been appointed to that office.

WB Stephen Blank, Master of Menorah Lodge 4849 in 1988, was invested as an APGM with responsibility for Central Area no. 1 (Ashton, Mossley and Audenshaw) by the RW Bro Paul Rink, PGM on 20 May 2008. The investiture took place at a meeting of Lodge of Union no 268 at Ashton Masonic Hall. The WM and Wardens of ZM Lodge 1798 attended as guests of WB Blank and ZM Lodge’s Bible Fall was used to carry his Chain. The Obligation as an APGM was taken on the ZM Bible. There are very few private Lodges in any Province having two brethren serving as APGM’s at the same time.
